It is capable of withstanding a water column of 15 000 mm H₂O. Nevertheless, with a permeability of 15 000 g/m²/24 h, there is not any compromise when it comes to breathability either. There is a special fabric structure: 3-ply laminate which accounts for the amazing waterpoof rating, but still allows large amounts of water vapour to escape.
